Combat Verified is a combat sports platform designed to help fighters, coaches, gyms, promoters, and officials manage and verify combat sports information and profiles.

The Platform is intended to support transparency, professionalism, and safeguarding within combat sports communities.

2. Eligibility

By using Combat Verified, you confirm that:

• You are at least 16 years old, or
• You have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required
• Information provided is accurate and truthful
• You will use the Platform lawfully and respectfully

Combat Verified reserves the right to suspend or remove accounts that provide false or misleading information.

3. User Accounts

Users are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of their account
• Keeping login information confidential
• Ensuring account information remains accurate and up to date

You are responsible for all activity carried out under your account.

4. Profile Information

Users may submit:

• Fight records
• Gym affiliations
• Competition history
• Photos and media
• Weight classes and rankings

Combat Verified does not guarantee the accuracy of all user-submitted information.

We reserve the right to:

• Edit inaccurate information
• Remove misleading content
• Request verification where appropriate
• Suspend accounts involved in fraudulent activity

5. Safeguarding and Under-16 Users

Combat Verified takes safeguarding seriously.

The following rules apply:

• No personal home addresses should be uploaded
• No inappropriate images involving minors
• Under-16 athletes must be represented appropriately
• Harassment, grooming behaviour, bullying, or exploitation will result in immediate removal and potential reporting to relevant authorities

Combat Verified reserves the right to restrict or remove any content considered unsafe or inappropriate.

6. Community Standards

Users agree not to:

• Abuse or harass other users
• Upload offensive or unlawful material
• Impersonate fighters, coaches, officials, or gyms
• Misrepresent fight records or achievements
• Attempt to damage, hack, or disrupt the Platform
• Upload copyrighted content without permission

Combat Verified may suspend or permanently remove accounts violating these standards.

7. Intellectual Property

All Combat Verified branding, logos, graphics, platform design, and original content remain the property of Combat Verified Ltd unless otherwise stated.

Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant Combat Verified permission to display and use submitted content for platform functionality and promotion.

8. User-Generated Content

Users are solely responsible for content they upload.

By uploading content, you confirm:

• You have the right to use it
• It does not breach laws or third-party rights
• It does not violate safeguarding standards

Combat Verified reserves the right to remove content without notice where necessary.

9. Platform Availability

We aim to keep Combat Verified available and functioning smoothly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may:

• Perform maintenance
• Update features
• Modify or discontinue services
• Restrict access where necessary for security or safeguarding reasons

10. Limitation of Liability

Combat Verified provides the Platform "as is" without guarantees or warranties of any kind.

We are not responsible for:

• User-submitted inaccuracies
• Matchmaking outcomes
• Injuries or disputes arising from events or competitions
• Loss of data caused by technical failures
• Third-party conduct

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Combat Verified Ltd excludes liability for indirect or consequential losses.

11. Privacy

Use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Users should review the Privacy Policy to understand how personal information is collected and used.

12. Account Suspension or Termination

Combat Verified reserves the right to:

• Remove profiles

This may occur where users:

• Breach these Terms
• Violate safeguarding rules
• Engage in abusive or fraudulent behaviour
• Damage the integrity of the Platform

13. Changes to These Terms

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom.
